A compact benchtop PXIe platform: a 3 U card cage with eight instrument slots plus a red-marked system slot in a 4 U / 52 HP aluminum frame — a self-developed C-BOX model. Photo gallery below, with the full subtitled video walkthrough.
This desktop PXIe chassis packs eight instrument PXIe slots plus the system slot into a benchtop-friendly 4 U / 52 HP aluminum extrusion frame. The 3 U card cage keeps standard 3 U PXIe modules, while 0.5 U air ducts above and below feed a top-inlet, rear-exhaust airflow driven by three 80 mm low-noise fans (up to 2,500 rpm). A 600 W industrial AC power supply accepts a 100–240 V wide-range input, and the rear panel carries a 10 MHz reference clock input and output plus DB9 voltage-monitoring and fan-control ports, so the chassis can be synchronized with auxiliary instruments. The aluminum frame supports rack mounting and protects the PXI modules in transport and daily use.
